Its true, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. It can be tough to figure out what to get the mother of your child(ren). You want it to be personal and special without going overboard. I feel you. I love flowers and breakfast in bed, but sometimes it’s nice to change it up. Here are some gift ideas that I have loved:
- Kate Mesta Dog Tag
- Tech Watch: While this is not unique, a lot of us moms have a hard time indulging in technology. This is a fun splurge for an iWatch (yes husband, I want one) or a Withings Activity Tracker Watch that has a lower price point. Both are fun, useful and visually appealing.
- Lululemon: I live in athleisure, a fancy term for my yoga clothes I wear all day every day, so I am always have open arms for some new pieces from Lululemon. I am a total addict, so I can never have too many pieces. I don’t think I am alone with this problem
- Artwork by your Kids: I always like art done on pre-hung canvas so it is a 2 second installation on to the wall. Artwork is always special because it takes time to make.
- Jewelry: My suggestion here is to look at your wife’s Pinterest page and see what she is coveting. Take your kid(s) to pick out something they think his/her/their mom would like out of some choices you have pre-vetted.
At the end of the day, being thoughtful is the best gift of all. Mother’s Day should be a day to spend together as a family. It is always a nice bonus when us moms are not in charge at all. Hope these tips help.
Happy Mother’s Day!
