Although I am a HUGE family entertainment and Rom Com fan, sometimes I like to switch it up with a suspense thriller. I have anxiously been waiting for Greta to come out because we have been needing a strong female protagonist thriller for a while now. Just by the trailer, you can see why I have been on the edge of my seat for this movie to come out plus it was directed by Academy Award Winner, Neil Jordan and stars one of my favorites Chloe Grace Moretz:
So what is Greta about:
Francis (played by Chloe Moretz) is a sweet, innocent young girl who is trying to make it NYC. A very familiar story, right?? One day while riding the subway, she finds a handbag with a phone number and like any good samaritan…returns it to its rightful owner…Greta(Isabelle Huppert). Greta is a an eccentric French piano teacher who is very lonely since she is a widow. Francis who has recently lost her mother finds an instant connection with Great and the two become friends. Slowly things become less enchanted and more disturbing and the suspense thriller that is this movie begins.
This movie is out in theaters on March 1st!
