“If you want something, work hard and go after it” -Ashley Tisdale
I always consider myself a millenial mom but sometimes I have to remember to just be a millenial. I am loving this movement of being a millenial or really just being in the moment and having fun with it.
This morning, I threw on my super cute new Sweaty Betty #ReverseIt leggings, a Spiritual Gangster tank and a moto jacket and danced my way out the door at 6am to DayBreaker. I headed over to the main area of Hollywood and Highland where #DUO was sponsoring the morning for their new Ivory, Olay and Old Spice DUO shower sponge (more later). At 6:01am it was going off already. DJ A-track was spinning and everyone in the crowd was wearing bathrobes freely moving to the beat. Just seeing the costumes for the morning made me smile. It was like a day time rave. Some people were wearing unicorn onsies, other people had rubber duckies around their waist and some just had on more of my uniform. No matter what you were wearing, everyone had a smile on their face as they “Broke Day” together.
Once the music was flowing freely into my body, the whole purpose of DayBreaker, I was lured away from the dance floor to check out all the amazing snacks and such. Two of my favorites were the Bulletproof coffee..my husband is a huge fan but I just haven’t been able to wrap my head around butter in coffee, but this am there was no other option and let’s be honest…this girl needs her coffee! Since this was my only caffeinated option this morning, I quite liked the coconut oil and butter in my coffee. Will I do it again? Possibly.
After my shot of caffeine, I went straight for the green juice. Juicero was there…I have been lusting after this machine for well..forever so it was cool to see it in action. You order your juice packets once a week, they deliver twice a week and the machine can read the packets QR code and wont press the juice if it is over the expiration date. No real mess. LOVE!
So the real reason I was at DayBreaker this am was to cover the launch of Olay and Old Spice’s newest product DUO being launched with Ashley Tisdale, who I absolutely adored in High School Musical. She was sent the DUO and fell in love with it. She loves the smell and it revolutionized her morning. Easier and cleaner than a loofah and lasts about 30 showers before you have to get another one.
When I was chatting with Ashley, talked about how she is changing things up. On a daily note, she has committed to one exercise every day whether it is kickboxing, pilates, yoga, etc. Just to get up and move her body. Also why the DUO launch at a Day Breakers event was such a perfect fit.
Ashley has been working on re-inventing her YouTube channel. Her hubby does all the instrumental work and it is a full collaboration between them. She also said she is having fun collaborating with friends, like Vanessa Hudgens whose video with her went viral. I guess you could say 2017 is the year of collaboration for Ashley Tisdale…werk it girl!
DUO is available today in most places. Prices range from $9.99 to $12.99. Happy soap suds
