I have lived in Southern California almost my entire life and have never been to the San Diego Safari Park. Wow, I have been missing out. We did a little overnight stay this past weekend at the San Diego Safari Park’s Roar and Snore in celebration of the Dolittle movie coming out in theaters this coming weekend. As big animal lovers, this weekend was pretty darn epic plus Dolittle Movie is FULL of animals, so it was the perfect combination.
As soon as we checked in, we were taking We most definitely stayed up way past our bedtime on a night vision google tour, walking BTS to see the tigers, make s’mores around a campfire with friends. We woke up to a stunning view (SD Safari Park is 1800 acres) where we saw giraffes and elephants eating their breakfast and roaming their grounds peacefully. We did a tram tour and then meet a laughing kookaburra (the cutest bird ever!) and a blue throated macaw, one of only 250 left in the world.
I can’t believe this was my/our first time to the Safari Park….there is no doubt we will be back and we will definitely be watching @dolittlemovie this weekend (in theaters Jan 17th). Robert Downey Jr.’s Dolittle Movie is set in the 19th-century in Hugh Lofting’s original children’s books. Dolittle sets sail on an adventure with his apprentice (played by teen Harry Collett) to find a cure for the extremely ill Queen Victoria (played by Jessie Buckley). Along the way, he encounters villainous character Mudfly and Pirate King Rassouli, who rules the island on which all the FUN happens. Dolittle also spends time talking it up with a group of animals voiced by the extremely star studded cast Rami Malek, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cena, Marion Cotillard and Tom Holland.
Thank you for hosting us this past weekend Dolittle Movie! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
