“Kindness is like snow…it beautifies everything it covers”
Even though it was in the single digits yesterday, we had so much fun seeing some of the very best sights in Chicago. Here is our short list of to-dos when sightseeing in Chicago for a couple days:
- The BEAN in Millenium Park: We also learned that “The Bean” behind us is actually called the “Cloud Gate” inspired by liquid mercury. It is just so cool to see in person.
- The L-Train (public transportation): A fun way to ride around the city and see all the amazing architecture
- Deep Dish Pizza: We tried Lou Maltanatis…it was good but we hear there are more places to go
- Hamilton: Go to the Private Bank Theater and see this amazing musical. It is beautiful and diverse beyond words. The theater has an old world feel. It is also very intimate. Gorgeous venue
- Navy Pier: We went to the Winter Wonderfest inside at the end of the pier because it was -2 degrees out, but the sights outside were gorgeous. We cant wait to come back in the Spring time.
- Sky Deck at Willis Tower: 1.5 million people visit every year. Im a little squeamish at heights so I missed out but it was on our to-do list
- Signature Lounge: You can three states from the top; however it is not overly child friendly.
