“Be happy with who you are. Love your flaws. Own your quirks.” – Ariana Grande @arianagrande
Love this reminder from Ariana Grande. It’s so true. Sometimes it’s hard, but you have to love who you are imperfections and all. In the morning when we wake up it is so much easier to look in the mirror and see what I don’t love. I would even sometimes go so far as to say that “negatives” almost jump out out at me. It is so sad to be readily available to say what I don’t love about myself versus what I do. For decades I have been on a mission to look at myself in the mirror and see 3 three things that I do love about myself. This idea of starting to look for the positives and love who we are is what we should be doing. Can you imagine starting each and every day with body negativity? That is no way to live. Join me and Ariana Grande in embracing who we are “flaws” and quirks and all. After all it is these “flaws” that make us unique and different, thus should be celebrated instead of despised. Focusing on what’s great instead what is not.
So much fun “posing like a rockstar,” actually Ariana Grande to be exact. Sometimes I look at these amazing looks on the red carpet while I am interviewing celebrities and I think to myself…how fun would it be to go through the A-List celebrity treatment. Well, The Andaz West Hollywood put together an amazing package for the Grammys to do just that. With Pose Like a Rockstar, you give them a photo of the look you desire and then an amazing team which includes a hair and makeup, styling and a true rock photographer give you the experience. Thank you for including me in this super fun promo for the Grammy’s @andazweho and @iamdawnmccoy. I truly felt like a Rock Star. Such a cool experience…everyone needs to try it ❤❤❤
