Last night I had the amazing opportunity to hear Lama Tenzin Dhonden, Personal Emissary of Peace to his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama speak on Social Compassion
He shared the idea that as mothers we start seeds of compassion when we conceive. We teach compassion and love from this day forward. We must each have a strong moral compass and be kind to ourselves and humanity and we will raise our children to have that same respect for themselves and those around them
Social compassion is the foundation for world peace. We can never fight a war in life about or for compassion unlike peace.
Look for what you admire or love in others and you will see more beauty in the world. Negative emotion is baseless.
I with such a grateful heart and humbled spirit to have been able to be in the presence of Lama Tenzin. His wisdom and energy left me speechless. Im excited to focus on compassion in 2017. I don’t think there can be enough love and compassion in this world.
