As a woman on the go go go all the time between working, being a mom and a wife there comes a time when truly technology is my best friend. I had been hesitant to use my iPhone for more than texting, talking, email and a camera for the longest time and then one day I did it…I started downloading apps and I haven’t stopped since. I have found some seriously awesome LIFE HACKING apps that I cannot live without out. Here they are:
- Purple: On-Demand Gas that comes to your location. This has saved me so much time. I have been on “E” with the orange light on and parked my car for a meeting and my tank has been filled while I was working….AMAZING! I use it all the time, especially if I know I am low on gas and need to drive in the morning…gas being filled while I am sleeping…YES PLEASE!
- Washio: On-demand dry cleaning open 7 days a week with early morning and late night availability. Best part is that there is a 24 hour turnaround, awesome customer service and green earth cleaning (my personal fave). No more stops at the dry cleaners for me since I found this app.
- Soothe: This is more of an indulgence, but pretty amazing nonetheless. This app hooks you up with on-demand massueses who are background checked, certified and insured. Everything is included in the price, including tip, and you can get your massage in 1 hour or book in advance to fit your schedule. Prices are comparable to a spa, but all you have to do schedule and pay on the app and then you simply wait for relaxation at your location.
- StyleBee: On-Demand iPhone app that allows you to book a blowout and/makeup. This is so much more efficient than going to the Blow Dry Bar and then finding a makeup artist. Easy and simple, only downfall is that this app only has service in LA and the SF Bay Area right now.
- Squeegy: On-demand car wash at the push of a button on the app. You simply tell the app your location and schedule. You don’t need to provide water or power, squeegy comes fully equipped and all transactions are kept on the app unless you want to tip with cash. No more painful trips to the car wash where you spend time tapping your foot waiting for your car so you can move on with your day. Prices are fair for the value and convenience.
