Egg breakfast

When time permits in the morning, I love a HOT breakfast. One of my favorites is eggs, salsa and avocado. Yes, it is super easy but packed full of complete proteins and fats to start your day.

What you need:egg prep

2 Organic Eggs

Smidge of Salsa for Taste

1/2 Ripe Avocado

Pinch of Fresh Himalayan Sea Salt

What to do:

Cook your two eggs to taste with salsa

Slice your avocado and add a pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt

Benefits:

Avocados: Contain monounsaturated fats and potassium. So what does this do?  It helps increase blood flow therefore good for your heart and your brain function. These fats also lower cholesterol levels and prevent blood clots.

Eggs: Eggs are what I consider a complete protein meaning they contain a good amount of the 9 essential amino acids. They also contain both saturated fat and choline, which can increase memory skills and overall brain health.

Himalayan Sea Salt: Contains over 84 trace minerals as well as calcium, potassium, sulfates, zinc, copper, magnesium, iodine, iron, and much more. It also helps detox the body and is lower in sodium than table salt. (I also like to grind it myself so that my salt is pure. Pre-ground salt can have additives to prevent caking)

* To round out my morning I also like to take a very high quality fish oil to get my brain going with  DHA
