August 25th, I headed over to one of my favorite spots in LA…Au Fudge in West Hollywood. It is one of the few spots in LA that has delicious comfort food designed for a foodie and an awesome “creative space” for kids to play while mommies dine. I don’t think there is a better concept out there.
I was headed to Au Fudge to check out the Spring 2017 collection of Robeez baby/kids shoes. I was OBSESSED with their soft soled shoes when my son was a baby. They were great for protecting his feet when he was crawling, awesome for when he started pulling himself up on things and fantastic for his first baby steps. Not only are they fab for utility, they are also SUPER cute!
We were treated to some fabulous brunch bites that included pancakes, fresh berries, granola, eggs, potatoes and morning meats (bacon and sausage) and endless coffee. They know as mamas…ALWAYS COFFEE FIRST! All the yummy foods were displayed on the most adorable tablescape. It was seriously the cutest thing ever.
The new Spring 2017 collection was ADORABLE! There was soft soled newborn shoes, to soft soled rain boots and then hard soled bigger kids shoes. Who knew their sizing went all the way up to 16…lucky for me my little guy is a 11/12…so we scored a fab pair of blue toned high top sneakers. I am SO excited for them to be shipped. One of my fave parts of the collection was the collab with Disney. Soft soled shoes for wee babes with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Monsters Inc, Dory, Snow White and more. LOVED THEM! In fact, I wanted them in my size.
There was crafting for kids and moms like me. we made the cutest felt animal ears with a fall flair of leaves and twine. SO FUN!
Fun New Tidbit: I found out that Au Fudge has a little stairway in the creative space that goes up to a fun play loft…for as many times as I have been there it is amazing that I just found that out
