Saturday Feb. 25th, my little guy and I headed to almost Griffith Observatory to check out the #HeretoCreate collaboration event with PopSugar X Adidas. We love any excuse to explore different parts of Griffith Park and get some fresh air and exercise in. What is so cool about Griffith Park is that it is over 4,000 acres of public park right in the middle of the City of Los Angeles. It is one of the hidden outdoor gems that LA has to offer. #HeretoCreate is about unleashing your inner creativity to make you a difference maker. Adidas and PopSugar installed all different types of art along a half mile hike up to a beautiful peak in Griffith Park. The art was inspiring, colorful and kept us hiking up the hill to see the next piece. Not only that, there was some great music and people along the way.
We were treated to AmazeBowls, which are seriously amazing. They are packed delicious superfoods. I got the traditional Amaze Bowl that was: acai, blueberries, pineapple, banana, agave, and hemp milk. There is a little granola and topped with strawberries and some coconut shavings. It is so yummy, I am craving one as I type.
Not only did we get to hike around and take photos with some very inspirational art, eat AmazeBowls and get some fresh air…we also were given to opportunity to check out the new UltraboostX running shoe by Adidas. It is insanely light and comfortable. It hugs your arch, so there is a lot of support. Definitely crushing on them now.
On our way out, we headed into the Adidas Airstream to pick up some goodies to put into our PopSugar Must Have box to commemorate our #HeretoCreate experience. I let my little one pick out our goodies and we left with a stainless steel Adidas water bottle, a great Adidas duffle, a jump rope, Arm Pit wipes (oddly useful) and an Adidas x PopSugar battery pack. Pretty amazing morning if you ask me. Cant wait to play again Adidas and PopSugar!
