Sunday April 30th, my little guy and I headed over to the Zimmer Museum for their annual FUNdraiser #WeAllPlay2017. Every year the Zimmer Museum fundraiser raises funds to help provide thousands of low-income families with free or subsidized museum memberships as well as scholarships for camps and classes.
We got there right at 12:30 and were able to enjoy ALL of the fun happenings they had set up for the day in conjunction with their sponsors Hasbro, Babyganics and Uppababy. The event featured music & fun activities for kids ages 6 months to 8 years featuring Lucky Diaz and the Family Bands, The Amazing Etch Man and Mr. Potato Head and Do A Dot, Microkickboard scooters, Cookie decorating with Foodstirs, custom gift bag making, these super cool Bling2o goggles, claw machines and more. One of the activity stands I loved for my little guy was by Stratford School. They explained and made their own mini lava lamps. Very, very cool!
There was food, drinks, the amazing iScream Donut Wall featuring DK’s Donuts and one of my favorites…the fresh fruit stand. Yup I will pull over any time on any day for a large cup of fresh fruit with a little lime squeezed on top and a sprinkle of Tajin (chili-lime goodness). Honestly, we didn’t make very many of the yummy treats because my little one was having too good of a time with all the crafts and such. We did make a few stops at the Harmless Coconut water because we are HUGE fans.
The topper on the day was getting a tiny hatchimal from the claw machine and more importantly…getting a photo with a “real”Hatchimal. My little guy was beside himself. Thank you Zimmer Museum for the perfect Sunday Funday.
Here are some of my favorite goodies from our We All Play 2017 day:
Job well done Jon Layne of PartyLayne and Zimmer Musuem! We can’t wait to come back and play again next year!
