True and the Rainbow Kingdom – Netflix Premiere

I wish as a mom I said we never used the iPad nanny, but in all honesty I truly believe in moderation. I spend A TON of time with my little guy and sometimes I need to have a meeting or get a workout in while I am with him and it is a win/win to give him some tech time and the quiet I need. So it makes perfect sense that I am always looking the latest fun show on Netflix, Amazon or YouTube that is entertaining but still keeps my little a little just a little while longer. So when i get the opportunity to check out the latest kids show or movie, the answer is always YES PLEASE!  We headed over to the movie theaters at the The Grove in LA to check out the latest Netflix Show coming out today, August 11th, called True and the Rainbow Kingdom.

So what is True and the Rainbow Kingdom about:

True and the Rainbow Kingdom is about an 8-year-old girl named True (she is the sweetest) and her little BFF  Bartleby (a cat). True and Bartleby live in an adorable mushroom house Rainbow Kingdom and fund themselves in little pickles all the time that they set out to find a solution as little magical, rainbow detectives. Once a “situation” arises, True sets off to visit the  Wishing Tree to gather the correct 3 wishes, which she double checks with the Wishing Encyclopedia, she will need to solve the issue. True shows great ability to problem solve, meditate on the issue and show compassion/empathy. I feel in love with True, Bartleby and the fun nature of the show not to mention the catchy animation that seems very Japanese inspired.

True and the Rainbow Kingdom has 10 shows available on Netflix today, August 11th. The series is produced by Guru Studio, in collaboration with Pharrell Williams’ i am OTHER, world-renowned artist collective, FriendsWithYou and Home Plate Entertainment.
