As a parent, it seems that advice is flying around you whether you like it or not. Opinions are all over articles that people are posting and commenting on via Facebook and twitter. Opinions can be heard flying around parks and other kid-centric places. As always, there are some that you agree with and make you smile and there are others that seem to get your blood pumping and it takes every ounce of self control to refrain yourself from saying how you truly feel.
In my opinion, see there it goes again with the opinions, parenting is tough. It is hard to figure out how to discipline your kid, potentially discipline another kid in a play group without stepping on a friend’s parenting ground and how to be disciplined as a parent to follow through with the rules you have set forth.
This morning, I had the opportunity to talk with the famed Jo Frost (SuperNanny) and Nancy Redd (host and fellow mama of a toddler) on Huffington Post Live. It was an amazing experience to be able to ask level headed parents with solid, applicable advice. I am quickly typing this so I can download her new book “Toddler Tantrums.” I am in the midst of “meltdown out of nowhere” tantrums, “I want to do it myself” and much more. I can use all the help and information in navigating the tantrum world…
Thank you Jo and Nancy for a fun morning! I could have listened , chatted and asked questions all morning! Click in to see our morning conversation. Would love to hear comments and thoughts! Opinions are DEFINITELY welcome!
