As HUGE superhero fans, we have always been a HUGE fan of Marvel Studios and their movies. We could not be more excited about Captain Marvel coming out on streaming devices, digital and Blu-Ray this week. It is on our weekend watch list and we are counting down until Friday night! Once you watch the trailer, you will know why we are SO excited:
Last week we were treated to a fun afternoon immersing ourselves in all things Captain Marvel at the Disney Lot. We met the infamous or maybe better said famous Goose the Cat who is played by four different felines. Each of the four cats has their own talent that they bring to the table not to mention the additional animatronic cat. Once you meet the main “Goose,” and see him on movie posters, you realize that he just might be the real star of the movie…you just can’t figure out if he is a protagonist or antagonist…
Well as Captain Marvel unfolds, you realize that Goose the cat is actually an alien called Flerken. They look like regular cats but can release these crazy blue tentacles out of their mouths, swallow huge things which they store in bubbles in their tummies (weird much???)..not to mention they can procreate hundreds of Flerkens at a time. Ever wonder how Nick Fury lost an eyeball…yup! Goose is responsible for that!
One fun fact is that Goose is named Goose in honor of Tom Cruise in Top Gun…LOVE IT!
