Creamy Vegan Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce

April 10, 2020

On Ep 8 of Quarantine with the Crownholm’s we are making Vegan Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce…so basically all the creamy goodness of Alfredo Sauce without the guilt plus your kid is eating cauliflower so a HUGE mom win because you can clearly see my child doesn’t really like cauliflower as a veggie…to be honest I wasn’t the biggest fan of cauliflower until I became an adult.

What I love is that this recipe is simple, fast and can be used in so many ways. We are using it in a traditional pasta sense making a fettuccine alfredo pasta loaded with veggies. After tasting this sauce, we will most definitely be using it on a steamed or baked broccoli or maybe even a loaded baked potato. The possibilities are endless and all so delicious.

What you Need:

  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic (I sautéed mine in Olive Oil first and I highly recommend that)
  • Medium Head of Cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup Hemp Hearts
  • 1 TBSP Nutritional Yeast
  • Dash of Smoked Paprika
  • Salt to taste (I used Himalayan Sea Salt)
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Veggie Broth

How to Make The Sauce:

  1. Boil or Steam your Cauliflower Florets
  2. Saute minced garlic
  3. Add all the ingredients to high speed blender (I used the Vitamix)

Pour over veggies and pasta AND….Enjoy!
