DIY Clay Pots with Kids

April 15, 2020

🍅Today for some Quarantine with the Crownholm’s fun we put on our urban farmer hats and decided to decorate some clay pots and plant some seeds we have been saving for forever. I don’t know about you but we got to Michaels and JoAnns with grand plans, get our supplies and then somehow we never complete out projects. This little quarantine time at home has given us that much needed time to do some fun DIY projects like these DIY clay post with kids. It was such a fun and easy activity to do together plus we will get some yummy veggies in a few weeks. I made a watermelon inspired pot and E made a marble magic one. That is the fun of this project, everyone can create whatever they want provided you have the paint colors and goodies necessary.

All you need:
Clay pots
Patio or Acrylic multi surface paint
Acrylic pens for some details
Soil
Seeds

Can’t wait to have some fresh Jalapeños and tomatoes soon in our garden! Now we need some fresh cilantro and avocado and we will have the best garden guacamole around!
