Asian Style Sticky Cauliflower

Asian Style Sticky Cauliflower

So I am new to really cooking cauliflower as a main dish. Cauliflower has always been a side attraction or a veggie that I have added to a dish for health reasons, like Vegan Cauliflower Tikka Masala. So I have been scouring the internet looking for good recipes that I can be inspired by and make into my own. This sauce that the cauliflower is cooked in, is quite possibly one of the most universal and delicious sauces I have made in my own kitchen from scratch. While I am making it as an Asian Style Sticky Cauliflower dish, I fully intend on using it for a chow mien, stir fry, tofu dish or anything else that comes to mind.

Here is what you need for the sauce:

1/3 cup Amino Acids (or Soy Sauce Low-Sodium)

1/4 cup Maple Syrup

1/4 Rice Vinegar

2 tbsp minced and sautéed garlic

1.5 tsp Sesame Oil

1/2 powdered or fresh ginger

1.5 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 c water

Squeeze one slice of fresh lemon

How You Make It:

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you have an even consistency

For the Cauliflower Dish:

Take one BIG head of cauliflower and chop into florets

Spray with Olive Oil

Pan Roast in Oven at 350 degrees until fully cooked and slightly browned (should be about 30 min)

Put roasted cauliflower into large pan

Add sauce and cook until sauce reduces

Serve with sesame seeds and/or green onion garnish over bed of rice and your favorite green veggie!

ENJOY!
