We are all looking for some fun Valentine’s Day fun with the family this year at home this year, so I wanted to share some fun ideas to hopefully inspire some un memories. I am sharing this same list on KTLA today Here we go:
Family date night
Put together some cute matching outfits for the family. My boys are wearing matching outfits for kids from Janie and Jack. I’m wearing an adorable Mommy and Me line, Ivy City Co. We had so much fun making ravioli charcuterie board (we tried making them homemade with a pasta maker i got on Amazon and it didn’t turn out but we had a blast trying) so we bought some raviolis and made biscuit pizza waffles in the heart shaped Dash mini heart waffle maker. We are also signed up to take a cooking class from two women in Italy on Sunday via Amazon Explore which has 100s of interactive live experiences around the world. Many are 30% off the weekend. Everything from guided historical tours to cooking classes to wine tastings and more with local experts. If you miss travel like we do, it’s the next best thing.
Something cute and cuddly
Being cozy is the theme that has carried over from 2020, these are all the rage in our home. The Smoko (stuffed boba and stuffed dumpling are our fave) line is beyond cute with so many adorable options and Disney Nuimos are the cutest addition to Disney plushes and perfect for that Disney lover. I love all the outfit options to make it a gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.
Craft together
This is a super fun craft to do together or for your kid plus it is very budget friendly. We love clay pot painting and then getting some seeds to plant, We used all weather acrylic paint from Michaels and had some fun. Putting together the supplies for a rock cacti garden was super fun and it turned out adorable. You just need all weather acrylic paint, rocks collected from a walk and mini pots and google eyes if you want.
Game night. We love a good game night. One of our go dos always is Spot It (great for all ages) or a good puzzle, which we have been into these days since we have been home so much. I love these artist drawn puzzles by Jiggy Puzzles which we glue together and frame after we finish.
