Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood

December 5, 2019

Mario Lopez
Meeting Max
The Grinch

It’s that time of the year when all of the twinkle lights are twinkling, the smell of hot cocoa is everywhere and you find yourself singing along to the holiday music coming from who knows where. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! One of family  holiday favorites every year to get in the holiday spirit  is the lighting of the Grinchmas Tree at Universal Studios in Hollywood. We are some of the biggest Dr. Suess fans of the book and absolutely both of the The Grinch Who Stole Christmas movies and there is nothing better than seeing the movies coming to life at Universal Studios every year.

One always wonders what it might be like to be a part of the Who-bilation in Whoville. Will the Grinch be scary? Will we meet Max? Will Cindy Lou Who be as cute as we think? The answer is no, yes and YES! We loved kicking off the night listening to Mario Lopez read from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas followed by Who-lebration complete with the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, the Mayor and more. The night ended with the 55 foot Suessian tree lit up perfectly Grinchmasy and with real snow shooting out into the sky!

Holiday Yummies

While the line was long to meet the Grinch, we met Max, drank hot cocoa, ate christmas cookies and more. We are headed back this week to check out the holiday fun in the Harry Potter World. On our list is the “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” dazzling light show, a cappella Frog Choir and obviously we must have some holiday goodies and hot butter beer (right?)

How cute???
Snow Flurries at the End of every show
