September 20th, I headed back to one of my favorite spots in LA, Au Fudge in West Hollywood. It is one of the few spots in LA that has delicious comfort food designed for a foodie and an awesome “creative space” for kids to play while mommies dine. I don’t think there is a better concept out there.
Today one of my favorite brands, Stokke treated us mommies to a day of FUN. I should tell you that I have been a HUGE fan of Stokke for over 5 years. We bought a Tripp Trapp chair after trying a different highchair and it not working formy little guy. I wanted something that was had a sleeker design, did not look like a conventional high chair, wiped down easily and would easily grow with my son without having to buy an extra booster seat in the future. Not only has this chair grown with my son the last 5 years, I love stealing it as a desk chair. This chair is so durable, every member of our family has used it as some point or another. I know get why they say these chairs are heirlooms. There is always a new use for it. Since this event, I have been coveting the pink chair…

As I walked into Au Fudge, Stokke’s Tripp Trapp Chairs in Baby Pink and Blue were set up cafe style on the front porch area. So cute!
As I entered the Indoor/Outdoor Patio area, baby pink and gray Tripp Trapp’s replaced the usual patio chairs. With the black and white tile and fresh pink florals intermixed in the decor, I felt like I was transported to Paris. We made custom carmel apples…such a fun idea to do with my kiddo this FALL.
As I headed into the “creative space” there was fabulous food, terrarium making and a SNEAK PEAK at their latest limited edition Trailz Limited Edition Stroller they are giving away. So if you are interested:
- ENTER before 9/22/2016
- TAG @stokkebaby and/or #growwithstokke
The Limited Edition Trailz Stroller is so pretty, it almost makes me want to have another baby…shhh don’t tell my hubby 🙂

We were treated to an amazing spread of small bites. There were macaroni and cheese balls, grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit skewers, heirloom tomato and burrata skewers, vegan ceasar salad, crudite with a trio of dips as well as little mini burgers and sandwiches and more. Trays of warm chocolate chips cookies circulated throughout the event. My willpower had me say no the first few rounds and then I broke down and ate one…it was just as good as it smelled.
All of us mommies got to check out the latest designs by Stokke, which included:
- Ergonomic Organic Baby Carrier
- Steps Steps Configurator which you can accessorize to fit a Stokke bouncer, a baby seat, tray, etc
- Two of their Strollers, Trailz Limited Edition and a Pram
While we sipped Rose and mocktails, nibbled on yummy food and looked at fabulous product, we also got to make terrariums. Since my little guy was at school, I got to craft by myself. Yes!
One of the highlights of the day was listening to Danielle Walker, a 2x New York Times Bestselling Author talk about her latest Against All Grain cookbook. It was so interesting to hear her story about her autoimmune disease and how eating/cooking gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo healed her. I am excited to check out her latest book that was in the gift bag.

Cant wait to play again STOKKE!
