Veena is most well known for being Miss California 2004. Since then she has worked extensively in the non-profit industry specializing in special event fundraising and program development. She has also worked for the prestigious Thomas J Long Family Foundation as a Program Officer. In recent years, Veena has become traveling the country doing motivational speaking as well as freelance lifestyle contributions online (video and written) and on-air. She has made appearances on national television programs including HLN, Raising America, Inside Edition and Huffington Post Live as well as being featured in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Diablo Magazine and India Life and Style.
