June 18th kicked off the Janie and Jack Summer Collection on the rooftop at The London Hotel in West Hollywood. Right as we walked into the event, fun music filled the air, we were greeted with ice cold lemonade and the perfect pool bag for kids. It had towels, sunscreen, sunglasses and more. We did not dress for a kiddo pool party, so my little guy slipped on his shades and we headed into the event. Janie and Jack thought about every detail as we racks and racks of their summer collection for us to pick whatever from. There were cute dresses/rompers for girls, shorts and button ups for boys and the best assortment of swimsuits for both.
The summer collection is light, bright, cute yet effortless. In fact, the girl’s line is so cute I wished they had some in my size. Oversized hats, flamingo bathing suits, palm tree dresses and the cutest linen and neon yellow romper that Rachel Pitzel picked out for her little girl. I also learned that the boys 6-8 hat fits my head…LOL!
After changing my little guy into his pool attire, he was in the kiddy water fun area within seconds.
For mommies and daddies, there was a caricature artist, flower crown making, and shaded picnic tables to eat and drink at.
The event was star-studded and the perfect way to kick off our 2016 summer! You guys, .this summer collection is way to cute. Although we chose the pink button down and plaid shorts, there was swimwear and so much cute casual clothing for little boys and girls to wear. I wish I could have fit in their sizes!
