Yes I know, I was a former Miss California. One would think I would be quite well versed in the facial world. Well, I have always been afraid of someone poking and puling at my skin, so I have always opted to not to have a facial, until today at the Spa On Rodeo. The experience at this Spa was perfection from the moment we walked in. We, my little guy and I, started our experience with chlorophyll water..which I learned is a natural de-stinkifier…yes please plus it tastes like mint tea.
Well I recently learned about HYDRAFACIALS. Since I have seriously dry skin, the idea of a moisturizing facial was quite intriguing. It was fast, like 30 minutes, and quite painless. It felt like little kisses on your face.
So what is a Hydrafacial?
Its basically microdermabrasion treatments which uses active serums in addition to resurfacing. There are 4 essential steps: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration.
My skin was slightly red for a few minutes and has been feeling super moisturized ever since. As I understand it, Hydrafacials remove blackheads and dead skin, leaving a moist, dewey layer of skin for the world to see. Even my normal organic oil routine post face wash was not necessary. I just might not turn down the next opportunity for a facial after this. Loved it!
Thanks for the fun treat Spa On Rodeo!
