July 30th, my little family headed over to one of the hottest spots in LA for moms and kids, Au Fudge in West Hollywood. Num Noms threw a super fun afternoon for influential moms and celebs. Stars like Ian Ziering and Mario Lopez joined hostess Tiffani Thiessan came with for some family fun.
Tiffani was so excited about hosting this event because her daughter has been obsessed with these fun, scented characters for about a year. She loves that that they are interchangeable, there is a a theme and the stations where you can make your own nail polish color and lip balm…Num Noms truly speak to the little girl in all of us.
She also had some amazing Mom Tips:
- Give your kid an allowance so they learn how to save for what they really want
- Right before the holidays, you go with your kid around the house and fill a bag with gently used toys to give with children that may not be getting presents
Okay so back to the Num Noms…they actually break down into two distinct pieces according to the website:
Nums are the outer, soft, squishy, hollow characters that nest on top of Noms
Noms are the inner, hard-shelled characters that are either motorized to scoot around or filled with flavored lip gloss
Hours of fun can be had by both girls and boys mixing, matching, stacking and not to mention making their own custom lip glosses and nail polishes. Num Noms are adorable, fun scented characters that make even adults want to take part in the kid fun.
All the kids in attendance at Sunday’s event went home with a fabulous gift bag, which included Num Noms backpacks, water bottles, light up rings, lunch boxes they decorated, Surprises in a Jar that they filled with sugary treats and their own custom lip glosses and lip balms.
