You know I love a good theme and that definitely is one of the most fun parts of tailgating season. I love hosting parties at our house as well as bringing the party to the Rose Bowl stadium to watch the UCLA Bruins play or maybe to Sofi to see the LA Rams. I grew up watching and cheering on the Rams so as an adult, I am still a huge fan!
I love a good floral moment and love when I can continue to incorporate the football theme into them. This year I was inspired by the paper lantern footballs I found online. I thought to myselfm you could definitely fit a slim vase inside of the lantern and then adjust the metal frame to allow for florals out of the top. I initially tried it with the metal support fully intact and it was har to arrange the florals. I decided to get out my wire cutters and and cut the part where you hang the paper lantern from since we are not going to hanging the lanterns. This was the perfect hack to making work. I love how this turned out and it’s seconds to break down and store which I love too!
What You Need:
Paper Lantern Football
Slim Vase to Fit inside the paper lantern
Florals of choice
Wire cutters
Set the paper lantern down and add in metal frame. Take wire cutters and cut wire to allow vase to fit inside lantern easily. Gently shimmy up the paper lantern and hook on to the wire frame. Add in florals of choice and that is it! I love the way they turned out! So perfect for any tailgating fun or football party.
