Pot o’ Gold Oreos

March 16, 2020

Self-quarantining for the #coronavirus = lots of Pinteresting fun in this household  and St Patrick’s day wouldn’t be the same without some good ol’ crafting.  First up…we made these fun St Patrick’s Day Pot O’ Gold Oreos ( they basically look like cauldrons with gold medallions and a rainbow) this afternoon 🍀🍀🍀

Super easy and fun for kids!. We were supposed to make these for a @ktla5news segment but it got cancelled because of Covid-19.

What You Need:

Oreos

Rainbow Airheads

Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers

Gold Medallions (we used Wilton)

How to Make Them:

  1. Warm up your melting wafers
  2. Dip Oreos into the chocolate sauce and place them on a plate standing up
  3. Let dry
  4. Warm up melting wafers again
  5. Dip the top of the chocolate covered oreos into the melty chocolate and attach a small square of the rainbow ahead and medallions and thats it

Such a simple, easy craft to do with your kids on St. Patrick’s Day…we are off to go find a pot of gold!
