Who else was a SUPERFAN of the first Secret Life of Pets movie??? We were! We are HUGE pet lovers and honestly who hasn’t wondered what our pets do all day while us humans are away at school and work. They must just daydream, nap and eat a little snack here and there and then countdown until their humans are home for some much needed TLC, right??? I’m pretty sure that the Secret Life of Pets 2 movie nails what our pets do all day. This movie is simply adorable and will have your family giggling the entire time.
So what is Secret Life of Pets 2 all about:
Max the terrier goes through some serious life change when his owner, Katie, gets married and has Baby Liam. The first adorable adventure comes when Max’s whole family takes a vacation to the countryside. Dogs being excited about taking car rides is just what you always imagined going through their heads. As a city dog, Max was a little terrified to be in the country with you know all those country sounds and farm animals. Max learns some pretty funny hard lessons about co-existing with cows, sly foxes and a turkey that has it out for him at all hours of the day (seriously this turkey will keep you laughing). Max soon meets the dog who runs the farm, Rooster, the ultimate no-nonsense ranch hand dog who helps Max ultimately find relief from his anxiety.
While Max is away on vacation, his neighbor Pomeranian Gidget who has a crush on Max is left in charge of his prize possession the squeaky bee toy. Through a series of unfortunate events, the prized bee falls prey to a cat-packed apartment. Gidget learns how to be a cat from her feline, Chloe and ultimately snatches the bee back.
Meanwhile, the adorable yet spicy bunny Snowball believes that he is truly a superhero after his owner Molly starts dressing him in superhero pajamas. He soons becomes tasked by his Shis Tzu friend, Daisy where his true superhero skills are put to the test.
Bottom line, this movie is AWESOME for all ages and a must watch!
